Your Play Attention Hardware Type
In order to use this troubleshooting guide, you must identify your current Play Attention hardware type. Please use the guide below to determine your hardware type. If you are uncertain of your hardware type, please contact tech support at +1 828-676-2242.
HW4-Serial
This hardware version is our wireless system. It is powered by 2 AA batteries and includes a long blue “fireplug” adapter that plugs into your USB port.
HW4
This hardware version is our wireless system. It is powered by 2 AA batteries and includes a short, black Azio bluetooth adapter that plugs into your USB port. Please note if you are using an internal bluetooth and NOT plugging an adapter into your USB port, HW4 is your hardware type.
HW2-PC
This hardware version has a power supply that plugs into a wall outlet, serial cable with USB adapter, Play Attention helmet, and is running on a PC computer.
HW2-Mac
This hardware version has a power supply that plugs into a wall outlet, serial cable with USB adapter, Play Attention helmet, and is running on a Mac computer.
