Installing PA on Mac OS X

To install the Play Attention software, Version 5.4.5, please follow these steps.

1. Plug USB fireplug into your computer.

2. Click the downloaded file <Play-Attention-5.4.5.pkg>  If a message is displayed after clicking the file that states the .pkg cannot be opened because it is from an          unidentified developer, click the Apple icon in the top left corner and then click System Preferences.  In the menu that appears, click the 'Security & Privacy' icon.  Under  the 'General' tab, you will see a message about Play Attention 5.4.5 being unable to be opened.  Click on the 'Open Anyway' button and this will let you proceed to the next  step.

3. The Play Attention Installer window will appear.

5. Click <Continue>

6. Click <Install> (You will be asked to enter your Administrator's username and password to allow)

7. Once the installation has completed click <Close>

Congratulations!  You have now successfully installed your Play Attention software.  To access the program, go back to your computer’s main desktop, click on <Go>, and then go to <Applications>.  Locate Play Attention in the list of applications and click to open.  DO NOT move (or drag) Play Attention out of the Applications folder to your Dock or Desktop.

***Creation of an Alias for the desktop (which can be done with earlier OS X versions) is NOT advised ***
