Modified on Wed, 15 Aug, 2018 at 4:19 PM

If you are using the Kinivo BTD-400 you will need to pair the dongle to the BodyWave armband.

Before pairing your BTD adapter to the BodyWave armband, please ensure that the BTD adapter is properly installed on your system.

  • No drivers necessary: Windows 10, Mac OS X
  • Optional installation: Windows 8, Windows 8.1
  • Required installation: Windows 7

Drivers for the BTD-400 can be downloaded from Kinivo's downloads page.

After the device drivers have been correctly installed.

  1. Right click the Bluetooth tray icon in system tray (lower right corner) then select Add a Device.

  2. A new window will open up and begin searching for Bluetooth devices. Power on your BodyWave armband to put it into pairing mode.

  3. Select the BodyWave armband from the list, it will be named something like HW5-1500112, then press Next.

  4. When prompted enter the pairing code: 0000

  5. During this process, your computer will setup your BodyWave armband and may take several moments. After the setup, you should see that the BodyWave armband has been successfully connected to your computer.

If the device was not successfully added, please try adding the device from step 1 again.

If you receive any error messages or are still having issues during this process, please contact support@kinivo.com so they can assist you.

  6. The pairing process is now finished. Now you may continue with the setup "scanning" procedure in the PA6 application.
