This issue has been resolved in a newer version of the installer. Please download and reinstall PA6 from the latest installer.
Start a scan for your Body Wave hardware from the System Setup menu by clicking on:
If this screen never goes away (it just scans and scans...) then there might be a problem with your Java installation.
However, before we look into Java lets confirm that you have:
If the test fails again then press ⊞ Win+R to open the "Run Command" Window.1. Plugged in the PA USB adapter into a working USB port on your computer and it is emitting a blinking blue light.
2. Installed fresh batteries in your Body Wave interface box.
3. The Body Wave interface box is powered on and is emitting a solid red light.
Remedy any of these 3 situations and retest by clicking: .
Type "java -version" and press Enter.
You should see something like the above output. If there are any errors with your Java installation then we have confirmed the problem is with Java.
Go to http://java.com/ and click on ...Then click on
This will download the Java installer. Once downloaded you will need to run this installer by clicking on the installer icon in your downloads folder or in the toolbar of your browser.
Follow all install steps to complete the Java install (be aware that they try and package add-on software you may not want...opt out of these if you'd like.)
Once Java install is complete check the "java -version" in the Command Prompt window. Does everything look okay, no errors? Good! Now try to scan for the Body Wave hardware in Play Attention one more time.
