Do I have to sit with my child or student during the session?

Modified on Tue, 2 Sep, 2014 at 4:54 PM

As a Play Attention coach it is your job to sit with your child or student to make certain each Play Attention session is of the highest quality. Although Sheer Genius does a lot of the work for you, your child or student will benefit from the conversations you have in between skills and the encouragement you provide. If you are doing behavior shaping it is necessary that you are there to track the behaviors using the session rating scale.  It is possible for an older child to eventually work independently. However, you should speak with your support adviser when making this decision.
